Two sides to an environmental question - do wind farms make you sick?

The people of Waubra say the massive implementation
of huge turbines has made them ill.

If there is transparency about information and installation,
why does Acciona institute confidentiality clauses
in contracts with disaffected people.
Risk management of course -
Acciona safeguarding any risk to it.

While Acciona maintains a Chinese wall around
its transactions and information,
it surely behoves other communities to be circumspect
in their dealings with the corporation.

  1. Without reading the books I'm not sure what is at stake here.

  2. Steve, I am uncertain - but community voices are raising queries and claiming other wind farm communities, including internationally, are experiencing similar problems.

The books may or may not enlighten us on difficulties connecting with the wind farms. I just try to attach additional reading by links and books to assist readers in extending their knowledge on an issue.

One thing is clear: if there are real difficulties connected with wind farms, this subject will not be the first to suffer from the law of "unintended consequences". So many things, projects etc that we of the human species embark upon seem to finish up, sooner or later, with consequences which we did not foresee or which we thought were minimal.

You never know. In Sth Africa you might come across some information on wind farms that you could share with us in Oz.

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
