Googling our minds...and then comes the hack

Pop over here for this thoughtful article, Googlethink.  Time, in this modern world, when we had a big think about agency - both personal and moral.  Else we become manipulated automatons.  Hat Tip to The Wheeler Centre for this article alert.

  1. Hi Miss Eagle
I found the second link very interesting.
Some of the references reminded me of something which is happening close to me, at present. Especially the disruption of what I would call, in layman's terms, a feedback link. Something seems to be broke broken, or mis-cued.
Not only does it apparently make it hard for such a person to read the world around them. It also makes it hard for the rest of us to understand what is happening inside the person concerned.

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
