AN ANTHEM FOR THE AGEING: NO REGRETS

Because of her own personal experience,
I always took Edith Piaf's
as her own personal anthem and reflection.

Now, Janey Cutler has made me revise this.
This incredible 80 year old has inspired me
at the mere age of 66 and battling ill health & all the rest
to say to heck with it all.
With all the ups and downs and vicissitudes
of life, death, illness, economics, and children,
I believe I can honestly say
No Regrets.

So, like this mighty Glaswegian
lets off to the "wee pubs and clubs"
and have a drink to that.

  1. Loved both clips, but the Janey Cutler piece was so unexpected.
    Thanks

This blog does not take Anonymous comments. Experience shows that comments cluttered with "Anonymous" are boring and people don't know whether "Anonymous" is one person or many. This is not a decision about freedom of speech. It is a decision about boring or unwillingness to be known by even a pseudonym.
